Institute of International Peace Leaders team surveyed 400 tents of flood affected displaced families (internal refugees) near Hayderabad Sindh to estimate number of children whose education is being affected due to internal displacement. In these 400 refugee camps, education of 200 children is stopped. School and homes are under water, teachers are not available. NGOs, Government, Institutions and other organizations are working to provide food and medical relief which is a priority at this time. But on the other hand, education cannot wait. Institute of International Peace Leaders team has taken this initiative to educate each and every child in these 400 camps so that when they will return to school their education would not affect.
We request other organizations to join hands with Institute of International Peace Leaders for Education cannot Wait Program.
